Finishing Up Seed Tape
While making the last of the seed tape, Sam snapped this cute pic
Red Tailed Hawk!!
Sam found this fella on the side of the road and took him to a wildlife rehab. So cool!
Wildlife Rehab Info
These are the folks that meet up with Sam and took his hawk. We touched base with them and the hawk is doing well! They think it was concussed so it should be released very soon.
As a 35 year old, I can attest to this being totally true ;)
Veggie!
We spend right at $130 on these starts. Cherry tomatoes, slicing tomatoes, marigolds, basil, rosemary, dill, thyme, oregano, pickling cucumber, squash, zucchini, cantaloupe, watermelon, and peppers!

Sam, watering away! He’s been so awesome and has stayed on top of watering the farm.

Hello, friend!
Hello, friend!
Hello, friend!
Do you see the deer?? This one has been sleeping in with the side flock. (There’s a video in this post of her leaving.)
Girls Rock Asheville
Camp starts this week and the showcase is the 22nd! I’m working all day but will be there in spirit.
DERP!
She joined us for an edition of chicken chat on our podcast. Such a good chicken!!
Hollyhock
We did a trial of hollyhock last year. We didn’t get flowers because we planted it too late but they came back strong this year!
Hollyhock
This is a double variety so the flower are extra poofy! Sam said they remind him of the white coffee flower we made for our wedding.
